Welcome to the P.S. 211 Calendars & Events Home Page. Here you will find all of the information related to any of our upcoming events along with various calendars that will provide you with additional information on any important events, dates or holidays.
From this section of our school website you are able to navigate straight to our School-Wide Events page which will provide you with information on some of the fun and informative events that take place throughout the school year.
We also have three different types of calendars available that you can view, print or even download and each of these calendars includes all of the important dates and events that every parent will need to be aware of for the current school year.
The three calendars that we have available on our school’s website are: the Live Event Calendar, the NYC DOE School Calendar and our very own, personalized P.S. 211 Monthly School Calendars.
P.S. 211 School-Wide Events
Our school hosts many wonderful and exciting events throughout the school year to celebrate the many cultures that exist within the heart of New York City, the various holidays and to support our amazing school community.
At Elm Tree Elementary, we believe that everyone needs to take some time to slow down and enjoy life a little bit and that is why our events blend in some fun and creativity while also being informative and tapping into our student’s and staff’s school spirit!
Every event, from our monthly Parent Teacher Association (PTA) meetings to our seasonal/holiday celebrations, is carefully planned out to be communicative to our families while also adding a little enjoyment to our students.

P.S. 211 Live Event Calendar
Our school’s Live Event Calendar lists out all of the major events that parents, students and staff need to know about. Our parents can use this calendar to stay up-to-date with the many goings-ons at our school.
The calendar itself is built directly into our school’s website and includes information related to our school’s Parent Teacher Association (PTA) meetings, Town Hall meetings, School Leadership Team (SLT) meetings, our regularly scheduled Parent Teacher Conferences, our fun holiday events, field trips and even school closings.

NYC DOE School Calendar
The NYC DOE School Calendar is the official school calendar that is released at the beginning of each school year by the Department of Education and includes key dates for all of the major holidays, school closings along with important dates related to parent/teacher conferences and major student tests/exams.
All of the important dates that are on this calendar are also added onto our Live Event Calendar along with our P.S. 211 Monthly School Calendars so that our parents/staff and students can always rest assured that they have the most up to date information at all times.

P.S. 211 Monthly School Calendars
Our P.S. 211 Monthly School Calendars are personally crafted by our school staff with detailed information revolving around all of the planned events that we have each month. These calendars are carefully designed to be as informative as they are aesthetically pleasing. Not only do they include all of the fun events we have planned for our students, parents and staff, they also include any major holidays along with any other important events of note.
These calendars reflect the same information that can be found on our school website’s Live Event Calendar along with the important dates included on the NYC DOE School Calendar. We aim to keep this section of the website updated to show only the monthly school calendars from the current school year, while the P.S. 211 Monthly Calendar Archive (All Years) page can be accessed to view our monthly school calendars from previous school years.
