Welcome to the P.S. 211 Elm Tree Elementary 1st Grade Family!
We are so excited for you and your child to join our P.S. 211 Elm Tree Elementary 1st Grade family! We are honored to have your child begin/continue their educational journey with us and we look forward to driving them towards academic success!
On this page you will find all of the information related to the school supply requirements for our 1st Grade classes.

Some Important Things to Note:
- Please label all of your child’s supplies and any extra clothes with your child’s name.
- Please ensure that all supplies are delivered to your child’s teacher within the first two days of school.
- Please contact your child’s teacher for any additional supplies that your child may need.
1st Grade School Supply List
Each student will need the following supplies:
- One (1) Pencil Pouch
- Six (6) Plastic Folders (2 Red, 2 Orange, and 2 Blue)
- Two (2) Packs of Copy Paper
- Two (2) Packs of Sharpened #2 Pencils
- One (1) Box of Crayons
- One (1) Pack of Block Erasers
- Two (2) Packs of Large Glue Sticks
- One (1) Pack of Dry Erase Markers (EXPO brand preferred)
- One (1) Pair of Personal Headphones
- Two (2) Marble Primary Notebooks (No Spirals please)
Other Important Items:

- One (1) Box of Tissues
- One (1) Sketch Book (No Lines)
- One (1) Pair of Child Scissors
- Two (2) Rolls of Paper Towels
- One (1) Bottle of Hand Sanitizer
- One (1) Bottle of Liquid Hand Soap
- Two (2) Packs of Baby Wipes
- One (1) Pack of Quart Size Ziploc Bags
- One (1) Pack of Gallon Size Ziploc Bags
- Two (2) Packs of Lysol Cleaning Wipes
- One (1) Pack of Construction Paper
- One (1) Ream of Cardstock Paper

All our parents have to do is:

- Verify the shopping list (and add or replace any missing items)
