Starting a new school year can be challenging for both our parents and students. That is why we are always looking for different ways to provide our parents and students with as much support as possible while also providing them with as much clear & concise information as possible.

Get Ready for Academic Success By Having the Necessary School Supplies
The first step in being successful while in school is ensuring that you have the necessary school supplies. Every grade level has their own academic curriculum that is built with different lessons and activities in mind which require a variety of different supplies.
It’s extremely important that all of our students have the necessary materials/supplies to complete all of their classwork along with their homework each and every single day.
Our website includes a dedicated School Supply Lists section which provides our parents with information revolving around the supplies needed for each of the grade levels that our school serves. Stay in the Know With Our Dedicated News & Events Section
We understand the power and importance of information which is why our school website includes a dedicated News & Events section.

Our parents and students also have access to information regarding our school’s academic programs and our various departments.
Through our dedicated P.S. 211 Classroom Corner section, parents and students can view information regarding their classes and teachers. Each of the grade levels has a dedicated section of their own where any grade-specific information or updates will be shared along with a staff roster for that specific grade level.
Additionally, through our dedicated Clusters & Departments section, parents and students can view information revolving around each of the various departments that can be found in our school. P.S. 211 has many departments in our school such as our Guidance Department, English as a New Language (ENL) Department, Science Department and many more! Each department has their own dedicated section which will be updated throughout every school year to provide the latest information regarding that department.

We are excited to announce that P.S. 211 offers a variety of after-school clubs and other Programs for our students to take part in! Not only does our school provide some of these after-school clubs and programs, but the Child Center of New York (CCNY) provides some of these as well!

Additional Information and Resources Available
One of our top priorities is to provide our parents and students with as much information and as many resources as possible.
With this in mind, our newly redesigned website accomplishes exactly that by providing our parents with various resources through our dedicated Parent & Student Info/Resources section and by providing our students with various academic resources through our dedicated Student Academic & Digital Resources section.

Opportunities for Parents to Volunteer at Our School
Our school is always looking for different ways to allow our parents to get involved within our school community. With this vision in mind, we’re always looking for parent volunteers to help our school in various ways such as being Parent Representatives or a part of our Parent Language Support Team.
Beyond that, we’re also always happy to have our parents help us in many other ways whether that’s assisting with our school’s events or anything that our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) needs help with.
