Community Holiday Toy Giveaway!

The East Elmhurst-Corona Civic Association invites families to a Community Holiday Toy Giveaway on Saturday, December 21st, 2024, at 1:00 PM. The event will take place at the East Elmhurst Queens Library (95-06 Astoria Blvd, East Elmhurst, NY 11369).
Join us for a festive afternoon filled with holiday cheer and community spirit! This event is proudly sponsored by Assemblyman Jeffrion L. Aubry, Assemblywoman-Elect Larinda C. Hooks, Councilman Francisco P. Moya, and other generous partners, including the Port Authority of NY & NJ, Metropolitan Park, LaGuardia Gateway Partners, and Delta Airlines.

We are thrilled to announce our Winter 2024 Scholastic Book Fair, taking place from Monday, December 2nd to Friday, December 6th, 2024! This is a fantastic opportunity for our students and families to discover new books and foster a love for reading.

We warmly invite parents and guardians to join us in-person on:

Wednesday, December 4th, 2024: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Thursday, December 5th, 2024: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Please bring your ID to enter the school building.

P.S. 211 Elm Tree Elementary School invites you to our Family Workshop on Supporting Language Development at Home which will take place in person on Tuesday, December 17th, 2024 at 8:30 AM!

Parents are invited to join this parent workshop focused on fostering the love of reading and enhancing language development at home.This workshop presents a wonderful opportunity for parents to learn strategies that will help them engage their children in reading and support their language skills.

P.S. 211 Elm Tree Elementary School and the P.S. 211 Parent Teacher Association (PTA) invites you to attend our upcoming Friday, November 22nd, 2024 Parent Teacher Association (PTA) Meeting on Friday, November 22nd, 2024 in our school’s gymatorium beginning at 9:00 AM.

We encourage all of our parents to attend our monthly PTA meetings as these meetings provide an opportunity to meet with both our school staff and our fellow parents.

During this meeting, we will be having a FREE special turkey raffle!
