Dear Elm Tree Families,



Join the 2025 FDNY for their Open Houses



On Saturday October 18th or Sunday October 19th more than 200 Firehouses and EMS locations will open their doors to the public from 11:00am to 1:00pm or from 1:00pm to 3:00pm for the 2025 FDNY Open House.



Firefighters, EMTs and paramedics will be educating the public about fire and life safety, conducting demonstrations, discussing careers within the Department, and offering tours of FDNY Engines, Ladder Trucks and EMS Stations.

Join us for an important workshop on Middle School Applications on Wednesday, October 8th, 2025 at 8:30 AM in the Gymatorium.

This session will guide you through the application process and provide the information you need to support your child’s transition to middle school.

We are excited to host La Canchita 2025 in partnership with City in the Community and MetroPlusHealth!

⚽ Students are encouraged to sign up to play and be part of this exciting day of soccer, community, and fun!

Families: Please complete this form if you are interested in having your child attend one of P.S. 211 Elm Tree Elementary School's Before-School and/or After-School Programs during Fall 2025.

The Before/After-School Program will begin on Tuesday October 14, 2025 (10/14/2025) and end on January 30th, 2026 (01/30/2026).

Please be advised that spots are limited and will be assigned in a first-come/first-served basis!

Please select your top three choices so that we can accommodate you as best as we can with assigning your child with one of the programs that you show interest in.

Sign up for free entry level conversational skills English classes in-person on Tuesday and Thursday from 2:20- 4:20pm from October 14 2025 - January 30. 2026 


Elm Tree teacher will be teaching how to read, write, speak, and listen in English to help you support your child at-home and in-school.
