April 17th & April 20th, 2023 - School District 24’s Summer Rising Application Process Parent Workshop

 

Dear families and staff of P.S. 211 Elm Tree Elementary School,


We would like to cordially invite you to attend the upcoming “Summer Rising Application Process” Parent Workshop presented by School District 24, which will have two sessions on Monday, April 17th and another session to follow on Thursday, April 20th, 2023 virtually via ZOOM!

About Event:

Our Community School District 24’s District Office will be hosting a workshop for parents which revolves around the new Summer Rising Enrollment Process for all students in grades K-8 that will be attending the upcoming summer school program. 


The workshop is scheduled to have two (morning and evening) sessions on Monday, April 17th, 2023 and one (evening) session on Thursday, April 20th, 2023. All three sessions will be held virtually via the ZOOM platform.


Please be advised that each of the two scheduled days is geared towards all English and Spanish speaking parents while the morning session on Monday, April 17th is also open to Chinese & Arabic speaking parents and the evening session is open to Polish and Bangla speaking parents. The evening session on Thursday, April 20th, 2023 is geared towards English, Spanish, Chinese and Arabic speaking parents.

Event Name: School District 24 Summer Rising Application Process Parent Workshop


Date: Monday, April 17th, 2023 (two sessions) and Thursday, April 20th, 2023 (one session)


Time: Two sessions on Monday, April 17th, 2023:

  • Morning Session: Begins at 10 AM for English, Spanish, Chinese and Arabic speaking parents
  • Evening Session: Begins at 6:00 PM for English, Spanish, Polish and Bangla speaking parents

Thursday, April 20th Evening Session: Begins at 6:00 PM for English, Spanish, Chinese and Arabic speaking parents
