We would like to cordially invite you to attend the upcoming Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) Eligibility Virtual Workshop (hosted by the ADAPT Community Network) which will take place on Thursday, April 20th, 2023 starting at 10:00 AM.

About Event:

The ADAPT Community Network would like to invite all of our parents to attend their upcoming Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) Eligibility Virtual Workshop which will take place on Thursday, April 20th, 2023 between 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM.

During this workshop, you will learn how to navigate the winding road to OPWDD eligibility. Find out how you can gain greater control of services received through self-direction once OPWDD eligibility has been obtained. 

Participants will also learn about the fine points of self-direction and how it gives individuals and families the power and flexibility to choose the services that they desire, the staff that works with them and to create a schedule that suits the person’s needs.

We would like to invite all parents, family members, caregivers and professionals who want to enhance the lives of children, teenagers and young adults to attend this workshop. 

The workshop itself will be presented in English, however, Spanish and Mandarin interpretation will be provided. Please be advised that this workshop will be presented VIRTUALLY via the ZOOM Platform and registration is required. More information can be found below.
