Our Vision Statement:

Our vision at Elm Tree Elementary School is that through collaborative partnerships with students, parents, teachers and the local community, we will support one another, adapt to new challenges and plan, learn and grow stronger together.

Through these relationships, we are preparing and motivating our students for their future as lifelong learners by promoting critical thinking skills, social responsibility, emotional development, self-confidence, and a global perspective to ensure success in the 21st century.

In addition, our vision for our Dual Language Program encompasses the outlined qualities in addition to graduating our program as bilingual, bicultural, bi-literate, members of society.

Our Mission Statement:

Elm Tree Elementary School is a community that extends past the physical building. We are a safe, nurturing, respectful learning community where students are encouraged to purposefully explore and innovate through technology, both independently and cooperatively.

Our students are unique individuals with diverse learning styles who are socially and emotionally responsive. They are challenged with rigorous curricula and supported as they become our future leaders of tomorrow. Our students are problem solvers, collaborators, and inventors. They think critically and ask questions as they develop a love for learning that will enable them to adapt to change and persevere through challenges.

As the 21st Century continues to evolve, we are committed to enhancing, improving, engaging and stimulating a learning environment that is accessible for all students.

Through the dedication of our school staff, the support of our parents, and the partnerships we create within our community, our students will leave us as culturally and linguistically diverse individuals that are prepared for their future.
