April 1st 2026- P.S. 211 Art & Music Festival
P.S. 211 Elm Tree Elementary is excited to host our Art & Music Festival on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, celebrating the creativity and talents of our students. Families are invited to attend their child’s grade-level performance and enjoy a showcase of student artwork and music. Please scan the QR code on the flyer to sign up in advance. Reminder: Doors close 5 minutes before each showtime, and late entry will not be permitted. We look forward to celebrating our students’ artistic talents with our Elm Tree community!

April is here and full of exciting events and opportunities to celebrate, connect, and continue growing together as we enter the spring season. This month, we recognize World Autism Acceptance Month and Arab-American Heritage Month. Our SEL Monthly Focus is Generosity, with a CARES Virtue of Empathy guiding our work with students and families. Our P.S. 211 Elm Tree Elementary April 2026 School Calendar includes important dates and school-wide events to help families plan ahead. Winter 2026 Family Survey Results Summary – March 2026
Thank you to all of our Elm Tree families who participated in the Winter 2026 Family Survey. Your feedback continues to help us reflect, grow, and strengthen our school community. Overall, families shared positive responses across important areas including safety, communication, academic support, school leadership, social-emotional learning, and student engagement. We are grateful for your partnership and remain committed to using your feedback to guide schoolwide improvements and ensure Elm Tree Elementary continues to be a safe, welcoming, inclusive, and supportive place for every child.
Spring Spirit Week March 30th to April 1st
March PTA Meeting – March 19
Join us for our March PTA Meeting on Wednesday, March 19 at 8:30 AM in the school gymnasium. Families will hear important updates from the PTA, including the President’s Report, financial updates, upcoming events, attendance awards, and school safety information. Following the meeting, we will welcome a special guest for “Ask the Chef,” where families will have the opportunity to learn more about school meals and ask questions.
March 17th 2026 - Parent Leadership in Action: Session V – Parents as Visionaries
P.S. 211 Elm Tree Elementary invites families to join us for Parent Leadership in Action: Session V – Parents as Visionaries on March 17 at 8:30 AM in the school gymnasium. This workshop will highlight the powerful role families play in shaping the future of our school community. When families and schools work together, students benefit from stronger support systems and greater opportunities to thrive. Parents will engage in meaningful conversations about leadership, collaboration, and how their voices help guide our school’s vision.
