Dear families and staff of P.S. 211 Elm Tree Elementary School,
We are thrilled to announce our Winter 2024 Scholastic Book Fair, taking place from Monday, December 2nd to Friday, December 6th, 2024! This is a fantastic opportunity for our students and families to discover new books and foster a love for reading.
We warmly invite parents and guardians to join us in-person on:
Wednesday, December 4th, 2024: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Thursday, December 5th, 2024: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Please bring your ID to enter the school building.

Picture Day Schedule:
Monday, November 18: Pre-K, Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 3rd grade and 4th grade
Tuesday, November 19: 1st grade and 5th grade

On Friday, November 22, 2024, Elm Tree Elementary encourages all students and staff to celebrate SMART Week, a week dedicated to recognizing and supporting students in temporary housing. This initiative brings awareness, understanding, and empathy toward the impact of homelessness on families. Students and staff and families are invited to wear purple in honor of SMART Week, to show your support.

On Thursday, November 7, 2024, Elm Tree Elementary will hold a Remote Practice Day. Students will work from home on a Google Classroom assignment. Loaner devices will be provided to students on Wednesday, November 6, with distribution details provided in an agenda letter.

On Monday, November 18, 2024, Elm Tree Elementary invites all students, staff, and families to participate in National Injury Prevention Day. Join us in raising awareness about safety by “Shining a Green Light on Safety” and wearing green. This day is dedicated to promoting injury prevention and fostering safe practices for our students and community. Together, we can make a difference and build a safer environment for everyone!
