October 2023 P.S. 211 Monthly School Calendar

October 2023 is finally upon us and we can welcome back the Fall season with open arms! There is no better way to celebrate the Spooky Season than by sharing our P.S. 211 October School Calendar with all of our parents!

Our P.S. 211 Elm Tree Elementary October 2023 School Calendar includes some exciting events such as our P.S. 211 Picture Day(s), our Learn About the IEP Process Parent Workshop and our Parent Resource Fair along with our monthly PTA and SLT Meetings! This month we will also be celebrating our P.S. 211 Red Ribbon Spirit Week which is aimed at promoting a safe and healthy learning environment for our students while also building their knowledge about drug-free choices!

Also, the SEL Monthly Focus for the month of October 2023 is RESPECT.

• Monday, October 9th, 2023 - Italian Heritage/Indigenous People’s Day (NO SCHOOL FOR ALL STUDENTS)

• Wednesday, October 11th, 2023 - P.S. 211 October 2023 Town Hall Meeting (Virtual VIA ZOOM - Begins at 9:30 AM)
