Summer Rising 2025: Free Summer Program for NYC Students
New York City Public Schools (NYCPS) and the Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) have partnered to bring back Summer Rising 2025, a free summer program for students in grades K–8. This program provides academic learning, enriching experiences, and fun activities, including field trips, arts, outdoor recreation, and more! Nutritious breakfast and lunch will be provided daily. Program Dates: • Grades K–5: July 2 – August 15 How to Apply: 1. Visit MySchools.nyc and log in or create an account. 2. Add your child using their 9-digit student ID. 3. Select programs that interest your child and rank them in order of preference. 4. Submit your application between March 4 – March 28, 2025. 🔹 Offers will be released in April.
