We would like to invite you to celebrate our upcoming “P.S. 211 Career Spirit Week” with us, which will begin on Monday, May 22nd, 2023 and end on Friday, May 26th, 2023!

About Event:

P.S. 211 Elm Tree Elementary School and our school’s Social Emotional Learning Department invites you to celebrate our upcoming “P.S. 211 Career Spirit Week” with us!

Our school’s Social-Emotional Learning Department would like to get our students thinking about what careers they would like to have in the future while also celebrating all of the various professions that exist in the world today by hosting yet another Spirit Week during the month of May.

Each day between Monday, May 22nd and Friday, May 26th, 2023 will revolve around an interesting and unique profession-related theme to get everyone excited about Career & College readiness.

Monday, May 22nd, 2023 - Construction Dress Theme

• Kick off our P.S. 211 Career Spirit Week off right by dressing up like the hard working men and women within the construction sector!

Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023 - Health Field Dress Theme

• Celebrate the importance of health and saving lives by dressing up like someone from the medical/health field!

Wednesday, May 24th, 2023 - Civil Servant Dress Theme

• Show your appreciation to the many important people working in the Civil Service sector by dressing up like any of the crucial positions within that field!

Thursday, May 25th, 2023 - What Do You Want to Be When You Grow Up? Dress Theme

• Let your imagination run wild by dressing up as someone who works in the job you have always dreamed of having!

Friday, May 26th, 2023 - Dress to Impress (Business Attire) Dress Theme

• Wrap up our Career Spirit Week by dressing to impress in your best business attire!

We hope that all of our students get into the spirit of celebrating our Career & College Spirit Week and we hope that they become inspired to think about the profession they would like to pursue when they get older!
