February 13th, 2024 - P.S. 211 Notification to Parents Regarding Remote Learning Day
Dear families and staff of P.S. 211 Elm Tree Elementary School,
We would like to take this opportunity to inform you that due to projected inclement weather all New York City schools will be closed and will pivot to virtual learning on Tuesday, February 13th, 2024.
Please be advised that all classes will take place virtually through Google Classroom and live via the ZOOM platform.
Each classroom teacher (along with some of our other staff members) have their own ZOOM link which can be found through the 24Q211 Zoom Links Directory (2023-2024 SY).
In addition to the above information, we would like to also share with you the official New York City Department of Education’s Letter to Families Regarding this pivot to Remote Learning on Tuesday, February 13th, 2024:
Dear Families,
Due to expected severe weather conditions, New York City Public Schools will pivot to remote learning on Tuesday, February 13.
While buildings are closed, school will be in session remotely for all students. Students in kindergarten and above will be expected to log on and participate in their classes from home.
Children attending LYFE or a 3K or Pre-K program in an elementary school or Pre-K Center should participate in the remote learning experiences outlined by their program.
All afterschool activities for Tuesday, February 13 will be canceled.
