Dear families and staff of P.S. 211 Elm Tree Elementary School,

 

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you into the start of the 2023-2024 school year while also providing our parents with the school schedule for all of our students during the 1st week of school! 

 

We are extremely excited to see all of our new and returning students/parents on what will most certainly be a fun and busy week!

 

We know that you are just as excited as us to start the new school year off right and we want you to know that we (and Chippy!) have been hard at work planning for your return.

 

We know that most of our parents would like to know what the schedule looks like for our students during their first week of school so please see below for a detailed outline of what that will look like (in picture and text format):

 

P.S. 211 First Week of School Student Schedule (9-2023)
 

Please be advised that the first day of school for ALL STUDENTS is on Thursday, September 7th, 2023, however, each grade level may have a different schedule (which you will find below).

 

Pre-K Schedule for the First Week of School:

  • Thursday, September 7th, 2023: 
    • Arrivals: Pre-K students that have last names starting with letters A-M will arrive at 8:30 AM, while Pre-K students that have last names starting with letters N-Z will arrive at 12:00 PM
    • Dismissals: Pre-K students that have last names starting with letters A-M will be dismissed at 10:30 AM, while Pre-K students that have last names starting with letters N-Z will be dismissed at 2:00 PM

 

  • Friday, September 8th, 2023: 
    • Arrivals: All Pre-K students will arrive at 8:00 AM
    • Dismissals: All Pre-K students will be dismissed at 12:30 PM

 

  • Monday, September 11th, 2023: 
    • Arrivals: All Pre-K students will arrive at 8:00 AM
    • Dismissals: All Pre-K students will be dismissed at 2:20 PM

 

  • Tuesday, September 12th, 2023: 
    • Arrivals: All Pre-K students will arrive at 8:00 AM
    • Dismissals: All Pre-K students will be dismissed at 2:20 PM

 

Kindergarten Schedule for the First Week of School:

  • Thursday, September 7th, 2023: 
    • Arrivals: All Kindergarten students will arrive at 9:00 AM
    • Dismissals: All Kindergarten students will be dismissed at 12:00 PM (all Kindergarten students are being dismissed after their lunch period, however, they will not receive lunch on this day due to them having a late breakfast)

 

  • Friday, September 8th, 2023: 
    • Arrivals: All Kindergarten students will arrive at 9:00 AM
    • Dismissals: All Kindergarten students will be dismissed at 2:20 PM

 

  • Monday, September 11th, 2023: 
    • Arrivals: All Kindergarten students will arrive at 8:00 AM
    • Dismissals: All Kindergarten students will be dismissed at 2:20 PM

 

  • Tuesday, September 12th, 2023: 
    • Arrivals: All Kindergarten students will arrive at 8:00 AM
    • Dismissals: All Kindergarten students will be dismissed at 2:20 PM

 

Grades 1-5 Schedule for the First Week of School:

  • Thursday, September 7th, 2023 through Tuesday, September 12th, 2023:
    • Arrivals: All Grades 1-5 students will arrive at 8:00 AM
    • Dismissals: All Grades 1-5 students will be dismissed at 2:20 PM
