March 13th, 2023 - P.S. 211 Language Learning Parent Workshop Recap

Dear families and staff of P.S. 211 Elm Tree Elementary School,

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for joining us today during our P.S. 211 Language Learning Parent Workshop! 

We would like to provide you with a brief recap of the training along with providing you with some additional resources such as a copy of the Google Slides presentation so please see below for more information.

Today, our English As a New Language and Special Education Dearpments reviewed a Google Slides presentation with some of our parents which focused on how our parents can build language learning at home with their children. 

The presentation discussed various reading/writing strategies that parents can use with their children along with some other resources that can improve their children’s language acquisition such as websites that include various language learning games and books that can also assist in this endeavor.
