June 2nd, 2023 - P.S. 211 Would Like to Remind You to Wear Orange to Call for An End to Gun Violence

Dear families and staff of P.S. 211 Elm Tree Elementary School,

We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to wear orange this Friday, June 2nd, 2023 to call for an end to gun violence in all of its forms, including domestic violence, suicide and city gun violence.

Friday, June 2nd, 2023 is known as Violence Awareness Day while Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 and Sunday, June 4th, 2023 are known as Wear Orange Weekend. Let’s all do our part to honor survivors of gun violence and call for an end to gun violence by wearing orange on Friday, June 2nd, 2023.
